How to Get New Lives & Levels Right NowAfter you lose all of your 5 lives in Candy Crush, or when you receive one of the 24-hour waiting periods during a Mystery Quest level, you've got to do the following steps exactly. If you screw up, you'll get a really large countdown clock the next time you lose all of your lives or finish a Mystery Quest level. Lose all lives. Exit Candy Crush. Go to your Settings app.

Tap on General. Tap on Date & Time.

Disable Set Automatically. Tap on the current date. Change the time ahead (3 hours works; 1 day is easier). Go back to Candy Crush. Verify you have 5 new lives.

DO NOT PLAY. Go back to the Date & Time settings. Tap on the Set Automatically button.

Go back to Candy Crush. Play. RepeatAnd that's all there is to it.

How to Fix the Long 'Time to Next Life' ProblemIf you see 4,348 minutes remaining on the No More Lives popup, the only thing you have to do is go back into your 'Date & Time' settings and manually change the time forward passed that 4,348 minutes. 4,348 minutes = about 73 hours. 73 hours = just over 3 daysJust move your date ahead 4 days or more and you should be fine.

Then, go back up to the steps above and start at the 9th step above, going back to Candy Crush and verifying your new lives. Then, make sure you DO NOT screw up the 11th step, i.e. DO NOT play right away.

Some that have lingered over the updates. Sometimes after completing a level, when it returns to the level selection map, the map will be completely black, and one is unable to select anything. Must shut down and reopen app to fix. Also, there’s a little trouble with the Fish power-up (i.e. Beginning each level with the bonus fish for 2hrs. Not using Tiffy as your friend) When using certain friends along with this power-up, the fish are slow to come out.

Sometimes I accidentally make my next move before they do their thing. What’s most frustrating is when the game ends before the fish comes out at the end of the very last move and it would have been the level-winning-fish.

It’s happened to me a few times (most recently while using Odus as my friend). I have noticed that when I use Yeti along with the fish power-up, the bonus fish comes out immediately after the special candy is placed - so that one is good. Others need adjusting.I would love to be given the opportunity to provide feedback directly to the developers on a regular basis.EDIT: Also, the Bubblegum Troll is a terrible friend. Vitelli, THE BEST OF THE ENTIRE CANDY CRUSH SAGA!I loooooooooove this game! I have sent multiple screenshots of this game to my family & friends to show them how adorable it is!!! Many people think it's like Words with Friends but it's NOT and I love that! The Candy Crush Friends pertains to the fact that you play with 'friends' in the game who throw boosters on to the board for you (the girl, the yeti, the nutcracker, etc)! If I could attach screenshots I would. It's so cute and fun.

Before this game the Soda Crush was my favorite but this quickly replaced it! I don't know if they made this game in response to people complaining about how hard Candy Crush is but it FEELS like that's why because this game seems to make it easier on you to get through levels- even if the levels do become more challenging. My mom and my 9-year old daughter stopped playing Candy and Soda Crush because they got discouraged when getting stuck on earlier levels. I feel like this game will revive their love of the Candy Crush puzzle game. Plus, it's just way cuter and more fun I think. Hope this helps! I’d much rather buy a game for a fair price than be goaded along into buying coins or fruits or whatnot constantly. I usually don’t even try a game if I see it has in-app purchases, but I somehow missed this for Candy Crush Friends. I got into playing it, but said I’d never go for the kind of in-app purchases that only let you play a little more. I got prompted several times to purchase the piggy bank once it “got full” and wouldn’t accept the gold bars needed to continue a failed game. Finally I said, “okay, I’ll buy the piggy bank, that’s a fair price to make it go away and let me accumulate gold bars from now on.

I was then surprised that it didn’t make the piggy bank go away, rather it just emptied it temporarily, and the $3.99 charge will have to be paid again and again, the exact type of in-app purchase I loathe. I thought the lack of clarity of this purchase was deceptive and typical of the in-app purchase model at its worst, and it took any fun out of the game for me. I’ve deleted the app even though I just made a $3.99 purchase (in fact, BECAUSE of the $3.99 purchase), and will be much more wary of which games i try in future.
