Ubisoft is really driving away their audience with their implementation of their forced online DRM. It's worse even than Steam. At least Steam allows you to play your games in offline mode, back them up, and participate in bi-weekly events that lighten your wallet in a guilt-free sort of way.Ubisoft should've gone to Valve with this instead of making their own service.

Bosch battery tester bat 121 manual. Backlit 8-line LCD display.

There's nothing of value to it. They should've taken the EA's 'opt-in' route and encouraged users to log online by adding special achievements and free DLCs for users who logged on - instead of forcing it. I wouldn't want to say 'Ubisoft should have gone to Valve instead of making their own service'! Because no company, not even Valve should have that power over the PC market (anyone seen that movie called 'Lord of the Rings', well DRM systems are the 'rings' of PC gaming).I would say, however, that they should have learned a lesson from Valve on minimum DRM annoyance.

I wouldn't mind one online activation. Although, it's useless, I could live with that.

But this system is just bound to fail in some annoying way or another. Even if it doesn't fail immediately, I don't want to be so dependent on it working properly. I really don't get it either.

There have been quite a few games that I would have loved to purchase, but refuse to do so simply because they are going to heavily restrict the way I utilize the game that I would have just spent $50 on. Stop getting in my fucking way at every turn, and I'll give you money. I'm a programmer too, I know what kind of work goes into these things. I want to repay the developers for the time and effort they've put into it. But I simply will not pay money that's going mostly to a publisher responsible for nothing other than selling the game and jamming it full of software that nobody actually wants. Devs, please sell your own games.

Sell them through Valve, or Impulse, or make your own awesome little system where I can pay you for the effort that you put into the game. I don't want to pay Ubisoft for something Blue Byte created.
