Lexicon Omega Asio Driver Download

Lexicon Omega issueHi all!I searched the forums, but couldn't find a solution to this problem with Sonar 7.When I start Sonar 7, it says that:The following audio drivers either do not support the current audio format or are in use by another application:Lexicon DirectLexicon 1/2Lexicon 3/4I tried re-installing the lexicon drivers (downloaded the latest from the web), I restarted the computer, shut down all other applications before starting SONAR, etc. I still get the error, and I can't play back audio through my Omega or record.MY SPECS:Windows XPLexicon OmegaSONAR 7 Studio EditionHP Pavilion 752n with 60 GB harddrive and 512 MB RAMAny suggestions would be welcomed! Also make sure you are using the ASIO drivers that came with the Omega. This usually happens using the MME and sometimes the the WDM drivers with the Lexicon gear. Also there are a new set of drivers on the web site at. (Clickable link)Give that a whirl and see if it fixes it. Also go into device Manager and disable your internal soundcard by going to the Sound and game controllers in the menu tree, click on it to open the devices that are connected, find your on board soundcard, right click and select disable.

Close the window and I am thinking you should be able to get it working then. Thanks for the help - unfortunately it still is not working.I downloaded and installed the latest drivers from the Lexicon website, I made sure that they were set to ASIO mode.EDIT: Ok, here's the weird thing. So I disabled my onboard soundcard, and enabled the Lexicon Direct Device 1/2 and 3/4. Then I started Sonar. Again, I got the error.

I switched to the WDM mode on the Omega, and I no longer get the error, but it still doesn't playback any audio. So I switched back to ASIO, and I get the error again.Any other ideas?

Hi, I just tested my LEXICON OMEGA with Sonar 7.02 using the lines ins, I have a 40 minute 2 channel recording thats flawless! But earlier, when I switched from WDM to ASIO, They was no OUTPUT from Sonar, after a freash RE BOOT, it was there, then I did the 40 minute test run. No drop outs, no pops, clicks. I`m satisified with the test run. I use my Omega for final mastering using SPDIF.If you go changing WDM TO ASIO there was a minor issue, nothing stopping me from using mine as intended.RE BOOT, if you go changing audio settings in Sonar, I know it shouldn`t matter, but it did here.I used my laptop, Gateway AMD dual core 1.8GHz, 1 GIG ram, its about 1.5 yrs old.DB isles.
